SEEFEEL

Project SEEFEEL is inspired by pioneers of direct film making such as Norman Mclaren, Len Lye, Harry Smith. Direct filmmaking is a primal technique of making animation by directly drawing onto film. Using this technique as a way of making animation has been influential on my process.
All of the early works from pioneers are simple, effective, colourful and experimentally achieved their aim of visualising sound. They did this by using the movement of shapes drawn on film, worked very well to recognise sound’s detail very efficiently. I also wanted to take on the challenge of finding a new possibility to express music as well as sounds graphically; I thought that I might achieve this through a reproduction of the primal techniques used by pioneers.
The intention was project is to make it digitised and explain instrumentation of noise music.
